I’m glad you’re here.
Sometimes life feels unmanageable. We work hard, we get things done, we dedicate ourselves to caring for others. Then, somewhere along the way, we forget to take care of ourselves. We end up feeling exhausted, overwhelmed, lonely, and maybe even unimportant. Therapy is an opportunity for you to invest in yourself, to give yourself the same love, kindness and understanding that we give others. As a therapist, my goal is to provide a safe and supportive environment that encourages self-reflection and personal growth. In session, I help clients with coping skills, self-esteem, assertive communication and healthy boundaries. Female empowerment is a passion of mine, though I enjoy working with clients of any gender.
I graduated with my Master of Social Work degree from Saginaw Valley State University in 2019. My background is in the nonprofit sector, working with survivors of domestic and sexual violence. I’ve been formally trained in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), as well as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), but my approach to therapy is personalized for each individual client, because no one thing works for everyone.
